BMW released its fastest station wagon in history

The new Alpina B5 GT will be offered in wagon and sedan body styles. The model is equipped with a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine with a capacity of 625 hp.

Alpina presented the fastest BMW station wagon in history. The B5 GT Touring model will be able to accelerate to more than 320 km/h. This was reported on the brand’s website.

BMW 5 Series 2024 model year sedan and station wagon will be presented soon. In honor of Alpina, a limited version of the B5 model is released.

The Alpina B5 GT will be offered in sedan and station wagon body styles. The model is equipped with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a capacity of 625 hp. and 850 Nm of torque.

Alpina B5 GT sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Due to the heavy weight, the station wagon needs a little more time to accelerate.

From 0 to 200 km/h, the sedan accelerates in 11.3 seconds, and the station wagon — 11.9 seconds. The maximum speed of the sedan is 330 km/h, and the station wagon — 322 km/h.

Alpina B5 GT also differs from the standard version in a sports exhaust system. The tailpipes are coated with titanium nitride and have a black finish.

The model received new 20-inch Classic forged wheels in an exclusive Marron Volciano color with the inscription “B5 GT”. Behind them are Brembo brakes with 395mm front and 398mm rear discs.

Customers can order the Alpina B5 GT in almost any color. There are also many options for customizing the interior for customers.

All cars will come standard with an Anthracite headliner, Shadowline, a Harman Kardon audio system, a heated steering wheel, Anthracite Walnut wood trim and “B5 GT” metal badges on the floor mats. Also included in the package is a leather-wrapped instrument panel and a stainless steel plate on the center console indicating the vehicle number.

The Alpina B5 GT will be produced in a limited edition of 250 units. They ask for a sedan from 145,500 euros, and for a station wagon – 148,500 euros. Deliveries to customers will begin in July 2023.
