Dacia offers a free heater instead of a subscription to heated seats

Dacia is offering a free heater at three UK dealerships. The company is sure that subscribing to some car functions is not the right solution.

Dacia mocked BMW for their decision to introduce paid subscriptions for features on their cars. This was reported on the Motor1 website.

In the UK, Dacia offers its customers free heaters. They can be obtained at some dealerships of the brand.

Dacia’s UK brand director, Luke Broad, said carmakers should not ask their customers to subscribe to factory-fitted car features. He finds the subscription to heated seats from BMW especially funny.

Dacia is distinguished by its budget approach to sales. Their cars are among the cheapest in Europe, but the Sandero Stepway, Duster and Jogger models have heated front seats as standard equipment.
